About Mark Chambers
The bilingual marketer companies hire when nothing can get lost in translation.
British and Italian, based near Brescia, 25+ years building brands, websites and marketing that bring in the right customers — in English and in Italian.
Most people in cross-border marketing are one of two things: an export consultant who understands distribution but not modern marketing, or a digital agency that runs ads but doesn’t understand language, culture or trade. I’m the rarer third thing — a senior marketer who does the strategy and the execution, natively in both languages, in both trade directions.
I’ve done the job, not just advised on it
I’ve been a Chief Marketing Officer (Braun Classics, where I lifted visibility by 400%). I founded and ran an international eyewear e-commerce business out of London. I’ve owned and marketed award-winning hospitality, rebranded one of Italy’s oldest rugby clubs, and led PR for cycling brands at international trade shows. When I advise you, it’s from the operator’s chair.
You get me — all of me, directly
No account managers. No junior handoffs. The person who plans your marketing is the person who does it. When scope needs more hands, I bring in a small, trusted bench I direct personally — but you always have one senior contact who knows your business. Clients of my consultancy, LimeOnline, have stayed with me since 2001, and I’ll always give you the honest version rather than the comfortable one. See the services → or connect on LinkedIn ↗
